Contest Anyone?

I'm leaving for the RWA conference tomorrow and will miss the release of my Midsummer Night's Steam for Samhain this Friday the 13th, Fantasmagorical. :( BUT, I'd love to give out and early bird copy!! This is a m/m/f menage--notice the m/m part of that menage in case any of you don't like m/m stories. Just leave me a note, telling me about your best vacation spots and I'll choose a winner at 5 CST tonight. I'm leaving at 10 am so be sure to check back to see if you won so I can send you a copy. Otherwise, it might not be so early bird :)

My hubby and I spent the first week of June this year playing at the Riu Resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The weather was fabulous; the crystal clear ocean, refreshing; the drinks a flowing; and the people, incredible!! I'm already watching the travel web-sites for Christmas time deals!

Now I haven't actually been there in 10 years, and I hear it's more touristy than it was when I was there, but St. George Island in Florida is absolutely exquisite! It is a really skinny long island. You can easily walk across it in like ten minutes. On one side there is a bay where you can canoe with Manatees. No motor boats are allowed in the bay area. And one end of the island is a preserve where no vehicles or anything can go in at all. The sea oats grow so high and the sand is so pretty and clean. The other side of the island is gulf and it is just delightful! *sighs* I wanna go SO bad now!!!

It's a great contest! I'm liking the odds! What do you think Lesley -- two 'early bird' copies? LOL

For me it's Wildwood NJ. It's a stapple destination for any one who lives in NJ PA or DE, but more than that it makes a person think of their childhood. It's changed over the years and grown since I was a child but it's still near and dear to me as well as my husband. My kids love to go there, with the beach and the boardwalk. It's just a good old time, I can't wait to go there again this summer.

Have a safe trip Annmarie and thanks for the great contest.

My favorite vacation was when we went to Myrtle Beach. We went with my neighbors and their family. It was the first time I had been to the ocean. I loved it. I have been wanting to visit there again.

AM,
I would have to say Key West, I loved the time we spent there. I have a place better then that even though most would not call it a wonderful get away. It would be our family Cabin we are on a privite lake with a little beach. When I go there it will always hold special memories for me.

Enjoy RWA!

I so want to go! I don't have a car right now and I'm already paying for a plane flight to Ireland next year ($2068 for my trip) so I can't go. lol Hope you have a good time there Annmarie!

Anyways my favorite vacation was going to the Bahamas with some friends. The sun, sand, and water were wonderful. I even got to surf for the first time. There were some fine looking men down there and yes, one of them taught me how to surf. To bad I couldn't bring them back with me. You gals would have been swooning. :D
